It's MY BIRTHDAY...

Jeremy has informed me that I'm slacking on our blog posts, so to those few fans of ours...sorry for the neglect to the blog, I'll try to post more often! :)

Anyway, Jeremy and I just got back from a little vacation to his hometown of Orange, CA. We drove to Cali last Thursday and got back yesterday (which was MY BIRTHDAY, but we'll get to that in a bit!). We had originally taken this time off of work to make a trip to Las Vegas for MY BIRTHDAY; however, since we were in the process of buying a house (and those of you who read the post below know how that saga turned out!) we decided not to spend a ton of money in Vegas and head to Cali instead.

While in Cali we went to the wedding of Jeremy's friend, Meghan Perstac, to her new hubby, Ricky Williams. The wedding was beautiful and a lot of fun, especially since some of Jeremy's close friends went too. Shout out to Greg, Britany, Nicole, Chris and James! Sadly, I didn't think to get a picture of everyone at the wedding, but at least I got some of the bride and groom.

The next event of our vacation was our niece, Kenaddi's, first birthday party. On Sunday, we ventured over to Jeremy's older sister and husband, Shelli and Jason's, house for the little party. Kenaddi opened her presents, with the help of big sister, Emilli, and made a mess while eating her cake. It was a fun little event and good to see the family. Plus, she's just so darn cute! Pictures coming soon!

On Monday, we spent the day at Disneyland with Jeremy's parents. We've decided that we want to take both our parents to Disney since they haven't been in so long and his got to go first. It was overcast and misting in the morning, which made it a bit cold; however, it also made the lines very short! The longest we had to wait was about 30 minutes for the Nemo subs. Plus, we practically walked right onto Soarin' and the California Screamin'. It was a fun day and as some of you might remember...it was exactly a year ago that day, when Jeremy proposed to me there! Awwwwww! :)

Memories.

On our trip, we also got to spend some fun times with friends. After the wedding, we went bowling with Greg and Britany and though Jeremy won the most games, I'd like to take a moment to brag about my 137 game (the highest I've ever gotten). We also went out to dinner and saw "Ironman" (which I do NOT recommend) with them. Then yesterday morning, we had breakfast with James before we headed out of town.

Wrapping up our trip, we drove from Cali to Scottsdale yesterday, in order to have dinner with my family since it was...MY BIRTHDAY!! We made it to Scottsdale around 3pm and relaxed until dinner time. Since it was MY BIRTHDAY, I requested that my mom make one of my favorites: her shoyu chicken and fried rice, plus we had salad...yum, yum! Instead of birthday cake, we had birthday cupcakes from Sprinkles Cupcakes. The Scottsdale store opened last Wednesday, which I took as a sign from God, that I was meant to have Sprinkles Cupcakes on MY BIRTHDAY! :) I had a Dark Chocolate, Jerm and my dad had Chocolate Coconut, and mom, Melinda, April and Gran had Red Velvet. Delicious!! As for presents, I got some great stuff this year: I Love Lucy on DVD seasons 1 and 3 (which means I finally have them all!!), 27 Dresses, 4 cute shirts, some bangle bracelets, pajamas, cute little ice cream bowls, money and a Harry Potter coffee mug! I had a great 25th and thanks to everyone who called, texted, Myspaced, Facebooked or wished me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

A "5" candle wouldn't fit on the cupcake.

Blowing out my candle.
