Vamos!... Let's go!

Dawn quickly approached the day after our wedding, and it was time to head over to LAX at 4am, so that we could depart to Cancun for our honeymoon!

Our 8 day honeymoon was spent at the Aventura Spa Palace Resort which is an adults only all inclusive resort, located in the Riviera Maya area south of Cancun in Mexico. We had an all inclusive honeymoon package that included 7 optional excursions, 24 hour room service, dining at any of the resorts 7 restaurants, unlimted food and drinks at the pool, 2 honeymooners t-shirts and a honeymoon dinner.

We had a blast on our honeymoon! Our days started with room service breakfast delivered at the time we requested. Then, we'd spend most of our afternoons laying out by the pool, eating chips and guacamole, playing ping pong, and snorkeling & kayaking in the lagoon. Also, we took excursions to the Mayan ruins, to a barrier reef to snorkel, and to a waterpark in Cancun. Plus, one day we both went to the spa for treatments! Jeremy got a facial and a haircut, while I got a pedicure. The staff at Aventura were amazing! Everyone said 'Hola' every time we walked by them and each person was eager to serve you. And our pink wrist bands gave us away as "Honeymooners," so they were all congratulating us at every chance.
